A lot of Manitowoc housing stock dates to the shipbuilding boom — sturdy homes with narrow staircases, tight landings, and basement doors that were framed before queen mattresses existed. We disassemble what needs disassembling, take doors off hinges when we have to, and protect your trim and drywall on the way out.

If a piece truly cannot leave in one piece, we cut it down and carry it out in sections. Nothing has beaten us yet.

Donation first, landfill last

Furniture in decent shape does not deserve the dump. When a piece is clean and usable we offer it to area donation outlets before anything else, and plenty of Lakeshore living rooms have a second-hand couch that came off our truck. Torn, stained, or broken pieces go for proper disposal.

Can you take just one couch?

Absolutely — single-item pickups typically run $95–$150, and one couch is our most common call. If you have a couple more things lying around, adding them to the same pickup is much cheaper than a second trip later.

Do you take mattresses?

Yes, mattresses and box springs of any size. They are awkward, they cannot go in the weekly trash, and we haul them constantly.

Will you carry furniture down from an upstairs bedroom?

Yes — that is the point of full service. We carry from any floor, protect your walls and railings on the way down, and disassemble pieces that will not fit through the stairwell.
